Big ass elevator

[ music | Kristen Barry – “Foolishness” ]

I swung down to Hoboken today to check out the Arts & Music, and Transit festivals they were having. No big whoop, but I did ride the new light rail since it was free. Also found out they’re going to be building a station like a block away from me, to open sometime in 2005. Makes me almost want to stay here just to see the damn thing. The station would be at the base of the cliff with this 110 ft elevator going down to it.

Would be hella convenient to have that thing a block away.

Woo hoo – I’m drunk

[ mood | drunk ]
[ music | INXS – “Elegantly Wasted” ]

I was all kinds of social tonight. There was much drinking amd laughing at Courtney’s birthday drinkfest. Certain gurlies spoke of getting their nipple(s) pierced. Someone kept telling me I was the best boss they’ve ever had. With my head swollen with praise and my liver full of Jack Daniels I headed home. A very good evening.

i want to go see this…

[ mood | tired ]
[ music | Death in Vegas – “Aisha” ]

Museum of the City of New York @5th Avenue and 103rd street. There is a photo exhibit on “The Last Days of Penn Station” by Aaron Rose.

The photographer snuck into the station during the demolition and shot away (his camera). The film sat in his camera for 3 decades before being developed, and now on display through October 6. Admission is $12.

classmates finally paid off

[ mood | excited ]
[ music | Faith No More – Angel Dust (entire album) ]

I’m so excited… all the classmates.com spam actually paid off! I found a long lost friend. I had no idea where she went to or how to get in touch with her so it’s been cool. We’ve been trading catch-up e-mails all day. It’s fun.

Didn’t do anything super rad this weekend. Just caught up on some work and some personal stuff. Sorted thru about 600 pix I had taken, but hadn’t organized. Posted some new ones up on [REDACTED].

I’m working with another friend on learning Flash MX. We’re using the same book – setting up assignments and classes, to meet and go over stuff. Should be good.

I’m going to attempt to start doing the 10-6 thing. I’m working way too much.

Woot.
